Community Health Challenge is now doing business as Keystone Wellness Programs. We have updated our name to reflect who we are and what we do, rather than who we were and what we used to do.
When our health promotion agency was established in 1990, we were challenged to tackle a single mission – to improve the cardiac risk factors of community members in southwestern Pennsylvania. The expectation was that once the challenge was completed, the nonprofit agency would dissolve. However, other public health concerns emerged and the agency was asked to utilize its resources to address those issues as well.
Now, more than 25 years later, we have a name which reflects the programming offered by our excellent team of health education professionals. Some of our strongest programs involve wellness presentations, community coalition building, and program management.
