Training Objectives:

  • Learn the similarities and differences with SBIRT and GBIRT assessments in addictions
  • Compare the use of GBIRT and SOGS in clinical settings
  • Learn how to ask more about gambling activities of your current and future clients
  •  Describe the theory and main concepts of Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Demonstrate MI skills and strategies
  • Present issues surrounding the use of MI with clients with a gambling disorder

Continuing Education Credits available:
